Wow!! Waterspout in Singapore!!

A waterspout has been sighted in Singapore at about 2:40pm on May 25 in southern and eastern parts of the island.

A waterspout is a columnar vortex that occurs over a body of water and is connected to a cumuliform cloud.

They normally develop in moisture-laden environments in coastal waters and are generally weaker than most of their land counterparts. Waterspouts also do not travel far from their point of origin.

However, stronger waterspouts may pose threats to ships, planes, and swimmers.

I felt shock when saw these photo.

It really happen in Singapore!!!
